José Bruno Silva was born in Paredes, Portugal on 30 May 1980.
He finished is bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISEP).
Currently, he is taking a Master's Degree in Software Engineering at the same school and will develop his thesis at the CISTER Research Group.
He is presently collaborating in two projects at CISTER, namely Mantis and Arrowhead EU.
His main research interests are in the fields of wireless real-time networks, real-time wireless sensor networks, middlewares, service oriented computing, distributed (intelligent) systems, large scale systems, and enterprise application architectures.
