Mubarak Ojewale is a PhD student at CISTER. He joined CISTER in 2018. His PhD work is on “Embedded and Real-Time Computing Systems; Cyber-Physical Systems and IoT” Mubarak holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan with a First Class honours in 2014 and also a Masters’ Degree in Computer Science from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja – a Pan-African Centre of Excellence – in 2016, with distinction grade.

He served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Taraba State University, Jalingo, Nigeria in 2014 during his Youth Service. Mubarak is a do-it-right enthusiast and very passionate about the Science and Technology. He has volunteered in many programmes to train and mentor Nigerian kids in Science and Technology. Some of these Programmes include; Exposure Robotics Academy, Lagos; Google CS –First, Abuja; and the Nigerian Space Ambassador Scheme. His research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), Tracking and Monitoring Systems, Cyber Physical Systems, Real Time and Embedded Systems.
