Conference Venue
Stockholm, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, is built on 14 islands around one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved mediaeval city centres, located by the Baltic Sea coast. Stockholm is also Scandinavia’s financial center with the largest gross regional product and highest presence of international companies. In 2010, Stockholm was the first city to receive the European Green Capital award, an initiative of the European Commission, and it is ranked fourth in the "Cities of opportunity" analysis, ranking first in intellectual capital and innovation health, safety and security demographics and livability. The conference will take place in the Näringslivets Hus conference centre, situated in the very center of Stockholm, near the Östermalmstorg metro station. The conference sessions will take place in the Wallenbergaren and Solen rooms, while the tutorials will be held in the Merkurius, Venus, Tellus and Mars rooms. The program of the conference will offer ample time for interaction and networking, with extensive lunch (Stallet 1&2) and coffee periods (Atrium), and with a banquet being held on Wednesday at Östermalms Saluhall, a marketplace food hall in a magnificent building from 1888. The banquet location is within walking distance from both the conference centre and the recommended hotel. See on the bottom of the page a map of the conference area. Layout of the Conference Venue
