Implementation Model for the Monitoring Framework

The objective of this document is to present the implementation model for the monitoring framework developed with the purpose to monitor and control systems resources, resource access policies and scheduling algorithms. The chosen target OS for this implementation design is the SHaRK kernel since it was developed to become fully modular in terms of scheduling policies, aperiodic servers, and concurrency control protocols. SHaRK is an dynamic configurable kernel architecture designed for supporting hard, soft, and non real-time applications with interchangeable scheduling algorithms.
