ABSTRACT:
The limited migrative model (LMM) is the new scheduling paradigm in the real-time embedded domain. It has been inspired by the latest trends in the high-performance and general-purpose computing, and it presents a promising step towards scalable and predictable many-cores. LMM builds on top of the fundamentals of the multi-kernel model, and it employs message-passing technique as a communication primitive.
