After other very distinguished speakers in the past, CISTER/INESC-TEC had the honour of hosting yet three further Distinguished Seminars: Professor George Lima (Federal University of Bahia, Brazil), Professor Joël Goossens (Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium) and Professor Kees Goossens (Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands). The main purpose of their visit was to participate in meetings aiming at further collaboration with CISTER/INESC-TEC, also taking the opportunity to give well participated talks on "New paradigms in the design of optimal multiprocessor real-time scheduling", “Job Partitioning Strategies for Multiprocessor Scheduling of Real-Time Periodic Tasks with Restricted Migrations” and “CompSOC: a Mixed-Criticality Multi-MOC Execution Platform”, respectively.
