CISTER/INESC-TEC represented at CarCoDe meeting

On July 10-11 CISTER researcher Miguel Pinho participated in a meeting of the CarCoDe ITEA2 European project, which was held at NXP premises in Paris, France. The meeting was the first attended by the Portuguese teams after the successful funding decision in Portugal last April, being the main topic the planning of the activities under the responsibility of the Portuguese partners.

CarCoDe (Platform for Smart Car to Car Content Delivery) is an European R&D project, labeled within the ITEA 2 program, which intends to develop a software platform for the automotive domain. The aim of this software is to generate a readable traffic service domain which displays all information related to all automotive users (car drivers, truck operators, traffic management planners, etc).

In the CarCoDe project CISTER leads the data processing and aggregation activity within the Portuguese national consortium, and the routing in heterogeneous networks activity in the European consortium. Being involved from the start in the setup of the ITEA2 project, CISTER is also the national contact to the ITEA Consortium.
