9, May, 2011

In the General Assembly of the European project RECOMP, which took place last May 5, in Helsinki, a decision was made to set up project technical weeks, each one integrating in the same week and location several technical meetings and workshops, of the different workpackages of the project.

A decision was also made to hold the first of these weeks at ISEP, in the week of August 29/September 2, joining at CISTER the more than 40 researchers working in the project, coming from important organizations such as Kone (FI), Space Systems Finland (FI), Infineon Technologies (UK), PSA Peugeot Citroën (FR), Thales (FR), EADS/Airbus (GE), Cassidian (GE), TUV (GE), Honeywell (CZ), Intel (IR), and several top European Universities and Research centres.

RECOMP is a 3-year project to establish methods, tools and platforms for cost-efficient certification and re-certification of safety-critical and mixed-criticality systems (such as in automobiles and aircrafts) in the context of multi-core platforms. CISTER is involved in several tasks of the project, focusing on aspects related to the timing guarantees in the system.
