EWSN/CONET MSc Thesis Award for CISTER’s collaborator

The EWSN/CONET MSc Thesis Award 2011 was given to the Thesis entitled "An Experimental Study for the Performance Evaluation and Optimization of Link Quality Estimators in Wireless Sensor Networks" by Maissa Ben Jamâa (ReDCAD research Unit, University of Sfax, Tunisia), supervised by CISTER researcher Anis Koubâa and by CISTER’s collaborator Nouha Baccour (ReDCAD research unit, University of Sfax, Tunisia).

 

This award is one of the corollaries of the RadiaLE collaborative framework (http://www.open-lqe.net), involving CISTER, the ReDCAD Research Unit (Sfax, Tunisia), and the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianopolis, Brazil). 

 

The CONET Master and PhD Thesis Awards were handed over at EWSN 2011, Bonn, Germany. Theses in the area of Cooperating Objects that were completed during 2010 and resulting from international collaboration were assessed by an international jury with respect to scientific originality, scientific significance to the field of Cooperating Objects, quality of the presentation and potential for practical application.
