Periodic Seminar on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN)
26, Jun, 2019
CISTER PhD Student Harrison Kurunathan gave a talk entitled “Symphony and DynaMO - Techniques to improve QoS in Deterministic Wireless Networks”.
Recent advancements in the IoT domain have been pushing for stronger demands of Quality-of-Service (QoS) and in particular for improved determinism for time-critical wireless communications under power constraints. There is also the issue of scalability and performance lack when Dynamic IoT networks are taken into consideration.
In this talk, Harrison presented efficient system architectures or tuning mechanisms alleviate these issues and enhance the Quality of Service of the existing communication protocol.
